Updated Alaska, Horizon Reaccommodation Policy

SEATTLE, Sep 13, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Alaska Airlines (NYSE:ALK) and Horizon Air customers seeking to change their flights may now do so with no fee or penalty through Monday, Sept. 17.

Those seeking refunds, including refunds on nonrefundable tickets, for travel through September 17 may do so at no fee or penalty.

For customers ticketed for travel Sept. 18 through Oct. 11, 2001, the airlines will waive change fees and reaccommodate travelers who prefer to travel at a later time, within one year of the date of the outbound travel on the original ticket. Refunds on travel after Sept. 18 will be granted per the fare rules of the customer's ticket.

Because of the high volume of calls coming into Alaska and Horizon telephone reservations centers, customers are advised to go to airlines' Web sites at www.alaskaair.com and www.horizonair.com for the latest information on schedules and the resumption of service.
