REPEAT/Start Summer Early and Save Up to 30 Percent With Alaska Airlines -- Plus Save 5 Percent More Online

SEATTLE, Apr 11, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Get a jump on summer with fares up to 30 percent off the regular price at Alaska Airlines (NYSE:ALK).

These low fares are available for tickets purchased by April 18 for travel through June 13.

Plus, save an additional 5 percent when you purchase these fares online at alaskaair.com.

These special fares are available for travel between noon Monday and noon Thursday, as well as 2 p.m. through 11:59 p.m. Saturday. Fares require a seven-day advance purchase and a two-night minimum stay. A 30-day maximum stay is allowed.

Fares to Boston and Washington, D.C. are available only for travel Monday through Thursday, and require a Friday or Saturday night stay.

Fares to Mexico are available for southbound travel Sunday through Wednesday and northbound travel Tuesday through Friday. Blackout dates to Mexico apply.

Sample fares do not include passenger facility charges of up to $18 depending on itinerary, federal segment fee of $3 per takeoff and landing, and September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement (up to $10).

Fares to Mexico do not include international departure taxes of approximately $28, U.S. transportation tax of $26, and Mexico visitors tax of approximately $20 (fluctuates with the dollar-peso exchange rate).

All tickets are changeable for a $50 change fee, plus any applicable change in fares.

Seats are limited and other restrictions may apply.

The 5 percent online discount applies to new purchases of published fares made at alaskaair.com or horizonair.com for flights numbered 1 through 999 and 2000 through 2999. Discount applies to fare level prior to taxes, fees, and surcharges.
