All Alaska and Horizon flights that had been en route have landed and all flights scheduled for today have been canceled.

Due to the early hour of the emergency, very few aircraft had departed for the morning flights. Alaska Flight 1 from Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C., had departed. En route to Seattle it was diverted to Madison, Wis., and has safely landed.

All other flights that had departed returned to their point of origin and have also landed.
