Alaska Airlines Resumes Daily Service to Reagan National, Continues Daily Service to Dulles International

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 3, 2001--Alaska Airlines (NYSE:ALK) will double its service to Washington, D.C., as it resumes service December 4 to Reagan National Airport for the first time since September 11.

Alaska introduced daily nonstop service to Reagan National from Seattle on September 4, just a week prior to the terrorist attacks that temporarily closed the airport to all commercial flights. That service was subsequently moved to Dulles International.

With the resumption of service to Reagan National, Alaska plans to continue offering Dulles service with daily nonstop from Seattle.

"Steady demand has made it possible to serve both airports in the D.C. area," said Gregg Saretsky, the carrier's senior vice president of marketing and planning. "Now with two flights, Alaska Airlines travelers have more options than ever before when it comes to traveling to the nation's capital."

In addition to nonstop service from Seattle, same-plane service will be available to Reagan National from Anchorage. Scheduled flight times are:
