Alaska Airlines Initiates Boston and Denver Service With Introductory Fares

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2002--Alaska Airlines is celebrating its new service from Seattle to Boston and Denver with low introductory fares.

Fares start as low as $149 each way to Boston and $99 each way to Denver. These special fares are based on roundtrip purchase, for travel on select days and times.

The Boston service, which begins April 4, will provide daily non-stop service between the two cities. And service to Denver begins April 28, with three daily non-stop flights from Seattle. Fares to Boston are also available on codeshare flights operated by American Airlines.

Tickets must be purchased by April 4 and travel completed by August 3.

In conjunction with the start of service, Alaska is offering double Mileage Plan miles on its new Boston and Denver service through June 15.

Fares are valid for travel from noon Monday to noon Thursday and on Saturday from noon to midnight. A seven-day advanced purchase is required, plus either a Friday or Saturday-night stay.

Fares do not include airport passenger-facility charges of up to $18, the federal segment tax of $2.75 per takeoff and landing or the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement, up to $10. All tickets are non-refundable, but may be changed for a $50 change fee, plus any applicable changes in fare. Seats are limited and may not be available on all days or flights. All fares are subject to change without notice, and other restrictions may apply.

Double miles between Seattle and Boston and between Seattle and Denver are valid for Mileage Plan members on flights operated by Alaska Airlines. Flights must be flown by June 15 and credited to Mileage Plan. Other restrictions apply.
