Alaska Adds Extra Flights to Help Stranded Passengers
SEATTLE, Sep 14, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Alaska Airlines (NYSE:ALK) announced
that tomorrow, September 15, it will add extra flights from Seattle to Anchorage
and Fairbanks and back to Seattle in order to assist travelers.
These extra flights are in addition to the 20 regularly scheduled daily round-trip flights between Seattle and the two cities. The extra flights will be operated with 172-seat Boeing 737-900.
Flight numbers and times are: 7201 Seattle/Anchorage depart 8:20 a.m. arrive 11:08 a.m. 7202 Anchorage/Seattle depart 12:08 p.m. arrive 4:25 p.m. 7207 Seattle/Anchorage depart 4:25 p.m. arrive 7:00 p.m. 7208 Anchorage/Seattle depart 8:00 p.m. arrive 12:07 a.m. 7205 Seattle/Fairbanks depart 7:00 a.m. arrive 9:50 a.m. 7206 Fairbanks/Seattle depart 10:50 a.m. arrive 3:20 p.m. 7203 Seattle/Fairbanks depart 5:30 p.m. arrive 8:20 p.m. 7204 Fairbanks/Seattle depart 9:20 p.m. arrive 1:43 a.m.Customers who are not currently holding a confirmed reservation may call their travel agent, tour company or Alaska Airlines at 800/426-0333 to book space, or they may go to the airport and ask to be placed on a standby list.
